Job Title: Finance Business Partner
Location: Remote (must reside in New Jersey)

Position Summary:
The Finance Business Partner (FBP) serves as the Institute’s lead operational finance professional, responsible for the oversight, integrity, and day‐to‐day management of all accounting and finance functions. This role oversees the full scope of the Institute’s financial operations, including accounting, general ledger management, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, grants and restricted fund accounting, and compliance with nonprofit and regulatory requirements.

Working closely with Institute leadership, the Finance Business Partner ensures accurate and timely financial information, sound fiscal stewardship, and effective financial processes that support the Institute’s mission and operational objectives. Acenda Integrated Health is the incubator of CHEW-NJPHI, and this position will dually report to Acenda’s Chief Financial Officer. As an integrated health organization, Acenda values the use of evidence-based practice or EBP's.

Job Title: Program Coordinator
Location: Remote (must reside in New Jersey)

Position Summary:
The Program Coordinator, rHOZs (rural Health Opportunity Zones), plays a key operational and community-facing role in supporting the design, implementation, and day-to-day management of CHEW-NJPHI’s rural place-based initiatives. Reporting to the Program Manager, HOZs, this role supports stakeholder engagement, logistics, data collection, and program execution across multiple rural communities. The Coordinator ensures that activities are well-organized, responsive to community needs, and aligned with CHEW’s equity-centered, data-informed approach. This is an ideal role for a detail-oriented, mission-driven professional who thrives at the intersection of community engagement and program operations.

Job Title: Director of Operations and Public Health Programs

Position Summary:

The Director of Operations and Public Health Programs is a senior leadership role responsible for ensuring the effective design, implementation, and operational excellence of CHEW-NJPHI’s programs and internal functions. This position bridges strategy and execution, translating the organization’s vision into high-impact, scalable initiatives while building the systems, processes, and partnerships needed to sustain them. Working closely with the Executive Director, the Director will oversee program portfolios aligned with CHEW-NJPHI’s core areas of focus, health equity, democracy and health, trust in science, and public health infrastructure and workforce development, while also strengthening organizational operations, performance management, cross-sector collaboration, and the institute’s relationship with the state of New Jersey. This role is ideal for a dynamic leader who thrives in a start-up environment, can “build while doing,” and is committed to advancing health equity through systems-level change.

Position Summary:

The Executive Assistant (EA) to the Executive Director (ED) provides high-level administrative, operational, and strategic support to the ED of CHEW-NJPHI. This role is critical to ensuring the effectiveness, efficiency, and alignment of executive operations across a fast-paced, mission-driven organization. The EA serves as a trusted partner to the ED, helping to manage priorities, coordinate internal and external engagements, support board and stakeholder communications, and ensure seamless execution of key initiatives. This role requires sound judgment, discretion, strong organizational skills, and the ability to anticipate needs in a dynamic environment.
